Dear Parents,

Many thanks to those of you who sent things for LCpl. Zach's care package. He will have a great surprise for Christmas! From what I hear, troop moral is very low now.

I hope you have been practicing with your child for the Christmas program. They will be allowed to hold their parts,but I want them to read smoothly.

We will be going to the planetarium on November 24 for our fall field trip. We almost have enough drivers. Mrs. Surgeon, our room mom, may be calling you. We must be there by 9:00 so we will load cars up as soon as students arrive at school. It would be good for everyone to arrive at school at about 8:20.

Please check the school newsletter for items we need for the Thanksgiving baskets and send a can of food with your child if possible. There is not a  contest, but it is good for children to learn to do things for others. Please let the office know if you know of someone who could use a Thanksgiving basket.
